W.hen a sample of nearly 1,500 female Ivy League students were asked if they would date a Trump supporter, with only 6 percent saying yes (after excluding the small minority of the sample that supports him). This was the result of a survey by the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) in 2020 among 20,000 students. While people are free to discriminate at will when looking for a partner, that attitude bleeds into problematic areas such as attitude and social tolerance.
