After the Democrats made tremendous strides and were on the verge of turning Texas blue, the former GOP Congressman was on a term Allen West warns Democrats moving to his new state of Texas to dismiss their political beliefs. West, an Islamophobic, homophobic, controversial tea party who fled the military and once attacked Democratic members of Congress in a McCarthy lie, is now the leader of the Lone Star Republican Party.
In a Friday “Fox and Friends” segment about the control of the US Senate determined by the Georgia runoff on January 5th. The hosts talked about Democrats leaving New York and California to move to Texas or Florida.
Co-host Ainsley Earhardt made the sweeping assumption that the only reason Democrats would move to these two states is because of lower taxes, which is wrong. She insisted that they should change their party affiliation to Republicans.
The entire purpose seemed to be a warning to the Democrats to maintain GOP control over these critical battlefield states.
But West, who quit the military after being accused of firing a gun next to the head of an Iraqi soldier during interrogation, biblically warned the Democrats.
“You have to understand, we don’t want you to bring these failed philosophies and guidelines that you want to escape,” which, in turn, falsely assumes people move for political ends and falsely describes blue states.
“Much like when God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah,” West said. It was unclear whether he also dwarfed LGBTQ people and equality.
“He said to Lot and his family, ‘Don’t look back. ‘We don’t want people to look back on these failed states. “
