Reporter Roasted for Attempting to Equate January 6 Revolt Terrorists With ‘Antifa’ in White Home Press Briefing
US Secretary of State Mike PompeoThe long-accused president of planning a presidential election in 2024 by using his office for political ends started the new year with a religious tribute to himself and his “boast” in a series of tweets.
“My New Years Resolution: Give the American people the full story of our foreign policy. You may not read it elsewhere, ”Pompeo tweeted in the first of more than a dozen tweets from his official US government account.
“We’re so much safer today than we were four years ago,” Pompeo tweeted, a claim many experts believe is false. “In the days to come, I’ll be laying out the mission set, big wins, personal stories, and more. Just me, mike. “

The tweets are intended to clearly position him as the next Republican president while paying homage to President Donald Trump.

This disturbing tweet sums up Pompeo. He writes: “I have tied our foreign policy to our noble foundation.”
The picture is from Pompeo’s inauguration in 2018. His mentor is on the podium, Mary Ann Glendon, an anti-LGBTQ and anti-abortion writer and professor whom he would elect to head his “Inalienable Rights Commission” a year later.
This commission, he promised, would “re-examine” human rights through the lens of “natural law”. Pompeo, a far-right religious extremist who “speaks about the rapture,” reported the New York Times, saying the Bible informs everything he does and sees “natural law” as an opportunity to attack LGBTQ people and issues like abortion.
Pompeo is effectively saying here to be anti-LGBTQ and anti-abortion is part of America’s “noble foundation”.

To be clear, Pompeo telegraphs what a Pompeo presidency would focus on by incorporating this image of Glendon and his speech of “noble founding”. He has long spoken about right-wing religious concepts like the Rapture, claiming America is in a battle to promote Christianity.
From the time:
Mr. Pompeo speaks about the rapture. “We will continue these battles,” he said at a “God and Country Rally” in 2015 because there is an “endless fight” before the “rapture”.
“Be a part of it,” he said at the meeting at the Summit Church in Wichita, Kan. “Be in the fight.”
In a speech in Cairo, Pompeo described himself as an “evangelical Christian” and said: “In my office I keep a Bible open on my desk to remind myself of God and his word and the truth.”
Observers found it remarkable that Mr. Pompeo would open a speech in a Muslim-majority country by highlighting his Christianity. And some critics have pointed out that before Mr. Pompeo became secretary, he testified against them about Christians and Muslims while speaking about terrorism and war.
Pompeo seems to be continuing his tweets, but for now the last two highlight what he calls his “boast”.
