Proper Wing Radio Host Eric Metaxas Will Emcee DC Professional-Trump Prayer Rally to Overturn Presidential Election

Right-wing writer and expert Eric Metaxas announced on his radio show on Tuesday that he would host “Let the Church ROAR,” the December 12th prayer rally in the National Mall where right-wing leaders gather, “Stop the Steal” activists and right officials.

Metaxas is a writer who positions himself as a public intellectual. This year he went completely through the rabbit hole of right-wing conspiracy theory. Metaxas announced in August that it beat a protester after attending an RNC event at the White House. Metaxas has participated in some of the many religious rights activists’ many calls to prayer since the election to ask God to intervene to give President Donald Trump a second term.

Rob Weaver, a Whitsun organizer of the so-called Jericho marches that took place in the state capitals, was a guest on Metaxas’ show along with his Catholic partner Arina Grossu, who is Catholic. Weaver described himself as someone who ran small businesses before joining the Trump administration earlier this year. Grossu vaguely described himself as being on leave from her job; Grossu served as an “outreach advisor” to the Trump Department of Health and Human Services, the zero point for religious law to use the executive to translate his agenda into federal politics.

Weaver told Metaxas that a few days after the election, God communicated with him about an “open vision” of Christians praying and marching in the disputed states. “It’s not over yet,” he said, God told him. He said the Jericho marches are “about truth and electoral integrity and about bringing down the walls of corruption in Washington, DC and the disputed states.”

Grossu said she also had a vision of people praying on the street and that the two were brought into contact through mutual contact from the Trump campaign. “God brought us together,” she said.

“This is real,” Metaxas agreed. “That’s God.”

“We’ll have nuns in habits. We’re gonna have crazy Pentecostals blowing shofar. This is my kind of event, ”said Metaxas, who identified himself as a Pentecostal Christian.

Also present was Alice Butler-Short, an activist from Women for Trump, who is organizing a “One Nation Under God” event at the Supreme Court on Saturday at 10 am. The larger rally in the National Mall starts at 12 noon. She said former MP Bob McEwen, executive director of the secret and influential right-wing council on national politics, will speak at the Supreme Court event.

Former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, who urged Trump to declare martial law instead of admitting defeat, will speak at both events, according to Butler-Short and Metaxas.

Saturday’s events are heavily promoted by religious-right media, including Kenneth Copeland Ministries, which Arina Grossu was a guest at this week, and the Christian Broadcasting Network, which reported organizers are also getting help from “The Return Planners.” – a pro-Trump rally in the National Mall on September 26th – “Jim Garlow and Michelle Bachmann’s Department for the Well-versed World and Groups like the Eagle Forum.” Phyllis Schlafly Eagles, a group led by Ed Martin, is one of the sponsors of a press release promoting the December 12th rally.

Weaver told CBN that the marches are intended to appeal to both the courts of heaven and the court of public opinion. Grossu added that Jericho March is urging people to turn to state officials to “demand full audits that all fraudulent and illegal activities are exposed and that only legal votes are counted to show what the true will of America is People in these elections. ”
