Paradigm Appoints Elizabeth Bierbower to Board of Administrators| Staff Compensation Information

Specialist care company Paradigm announced the appointment of Elizabeth Bierbower to its board of directors.

Bierbower has more than 30 years of experience in the health insurance industry and will help guide the development of Paradigm’s responsible specialty care management model and expand its impact beyond employee compensation, the company said in a statement.

“We are very excited to add Beth to our board of directors,” said John Watts, CEO of Paradigm, of our position as a leader in responsible care management for complex and expensive cases. “

Bierbower previously served on Humana’s executive management team, leading their employer, specialty, and military businesses and product innovation efforts.

Prior to joining Humana, Bierbower held executive positions at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, as Vice President of Health Care Strategy; and Coventry Health Plans of Pittsburgh, as chief operating officer.

She received her Masters in Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Sociology from Carlow University.
