Native Civil Rights Activist Displays on Chauvin Verdict And Significant Change

As the world continues to absorb the effects of the Derrick Chauvin Trial and Judgment, initial reactions are shared and dialogues gain momentum, even as new questions arise about turning points, change, and the next steps to be taken.

For a local reflection on this landmark decision and thought on law enforcement accountability, WBOI’s Julia Meek contacted civil rights activist, educator, and host of WBOI’s Gospel Flight, Dee McKinley, of Zoom to discuss and measure the possibility of “justice for all” .

Listen to the extended version of Julia Meek’s conversation with DeLois McKinley-Eldridge about the outcome of the Derek Chauvin trial.

Dee McKinley’s Gospel Flight will air Sunday morning from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at 8:19 a.m. or listened online at WBOI.org.
