Mexican American Civil Rights Institute to Host Digital Symposium That includes Audio system from Throughout the Nation | State

SAN ANTONIO, August 6, 2021 / PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE / – The Mexican American Civil Rights Institute (MACRI) will host its History of Courage / Valor for Change virtual symposium, a two-day event on 2021 Friday 13th August and Saturday August 14th, with topics about Mexican-American civil rights from the past, present and future.

The symposium will include more than two dozen speakers who will offer insightful, provocative, and inspiring ideas about the heritage and future of Mexican American civil rights in America. Speakers include the Honorable Alex Padilla, U.S. Senator, and Eduardo Diaz, interim director of the National Museum of the American Latino at the Smithsonian Institution.
