Melania Trump Data Farewell Video Urging People to Not ‘Lose Sight of Your Integrity’ – Will get Completely Mocked
Dozens of Trump administration aides and officials, including two cabinet secretaries, have resigned in response to the president sparking a riot that killed five people in the U.S. Capitol. Now one of Trump’s most dedicated aides, Hope Hicks, is reportedly considering stepping down within days.
“One of President Trump’s closest confidants and top aids, Hope Hicks, is discussing his resignation, according to two people, before leaving office. She told people that if she did, she would probably be leaving within the next 48 hours. It’s not clear if she made a decision, ”reports CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins.
A Hicks exit would be more of a blow to Trump than the kind of Chao and DeVos descents we’ve seen so far.

Hicks, who left the Trump administration in March 2018 after admitting to then Special Counsel Robert Mueller that she lied to President Donald Trump on duty, returned to the White House almost exactly two years later. But Hicks has a long relationship with Trump, who has been working for him and his daughter Ivanka since 2014.
If Hicks resigns “within the next 48 hours,” it means she would only leave about 10 days before Trump is no longer president. The recent resignations are not praised by the vast majority of Americans, who mostly ask why it took them so long. Some see quitting now as a mere “reputation wash”.
Indeed, New York Magazine’s Olivia Nuzzi says: “Hicks hasn’t been to the president since election day. If she steps down, as reported by CNN, the effect will be largely symbolic for Trump. He’s already isolated. “
Axios’ Jonathan Swan insists that Hicks not step down in protest, which Nuzzi confirms.
A trusted source tells me that Hicks started packing up her office, which may have created confusion among her colleagues who noticed. But Hicks is packing up because the Biden admin is 12 days away, not because she is about to quit.

But Bloomberg’s Jennifer Jacobs says Hicks could leave early.
Aides say Hope Hicks’ departure, if she resigns prematurely, would be devastating, also because it would allow other staff members to exit the west wing and erode it. https://t.co/D9oJP9TDAO

MSNBC says she is leaving next week.
Breaking on @MSNBC: Hope Hicks plans to leave the Trump administrator next week – before the inauguration.

Regardless, many take the opportunity to beat up Hicks for their role in enabling and sustaining Trump’s worst impetus.
All of these resignations are nothing more than symbolism, they are not bold profiles. These people have all been enablers for the past four years and should not be able to restore their reputation by leaving for 12 days.

Hope Hicks saw the white nationalist terrorist attacks in El Paso and Dayton. The president was charged with pressuring an ally to fabricate lies about his political opponent.
So just ride it out. https://t.co/nyTqOmVAD7

It’s such a BS. No one was more of a trailblazer than Hope Hicks. No one has benefited from apologizing for a pathological, lying demagogue. Blood on her hands too. It doesn’t wash off that easily. https://t.co/7nOdn8C6Ww

The hope that Hicks will step down at this point is like Eva Braun coming out of the bunker and saying, “In the end, he went a little too far in the end.”

Hope Hicks returned to allow for a second round of authoritarianism. She can’t quietly slip out the back door now. https://t.co/N4NZ8PuTn8
