McConnell Slams Marjorie Taylor Inexperienced’s ‘Loony Lies and Conspiracy Theories’ as a ‘Most cancers’ – and She Shoots Again
In a distinct break from the momentum on the right Mitch McConnell, Senate Minority Chairman (R-KY) Monday night, the newbie blew up House Republican MP Marjorie Taylor Green‘s “crazy lies and conspiracy theories” as “cancer for the Republican Party”. The Georgia Congresswoman wasted little time firing back.
Almost no Republican in the House or Senate has criticized Greene’s malicious lies and abusive behavior, and to be clear, 78-year-old McConnell did not mention the Georgia Congressman by name. But his message was clear.
“Someone who has suggested that a plane might not have hit the Pentagon on September 11th, that horrific school shootings were pre-staged, and that the Clintons crashed JFK Jr.’s plane is not a reality,” said McConnell in a statement to conservative news site The Hill. “This has nothing to do with the challenges American families face or the heated debates about the substance that can empower our party.”
Leader McConnell, in a separate statement to CNN, offered support for the contested chairman of the House Republican Conference, Liz Cheney, who was under fire for being one of only ten Republicans in the House to be charged with the now-former president Donald Trump voted.
The New York Times called McConnell’s remarks “a rare move by the most powerful Republican in Washington to insert himself into an increasingly ugly feud within the party.”
On Twitter, Greene shot back without naming McConnell but calling him “real cancer” and “weak” while continuing to try to repeat Trump’s words whenever she could. “That’s why we’re losing our country,” she claimed.
The real cancer for the Republican Party is weak Republicans who can only lose gracefully.
That’s why we’re losing our land.

Greene is a conspiracy theorist who advocated racist views. She has been the subject of numerous investigations by news agencies into her remarks and behavior in recent years. She has neither defended nor denied them, but used them to claim she was under attack and to raise funds.
