Marjorie Taylor Greene Delays Passage of $1.9 Trillion COVID Reduction After Blocking Little one Abuse Laws

US Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene Wednesday morning attempts were made to block or at least delay the passage of the COVID Relief Act, also known as President Joe Biden’s $ 1.9 trillion American Rescue Act.

I just moved on adjournment to prevent Congress from approving the Progressive Democrats’ $ 1.9 trillion wish list.

The GOP wrote against this ridiculous bill.

A motion for adjournment requires the entire House to stop what they are doing and have their say in order to vote. It can delay the procedure for an hour, sometimes longer.

Greene and members of the far right Republican House Liberty Caucus use this procedural tactic to disrupt the work of Congress.

This week, Greene and the Freedom Caucus blocked the quick delivery of at least 13 undisputed bills, including a child abuse prevention bill.

The House Freedom Caucus, reported CNN on Wednesday, “has thrown routine business for a loop.”

Other laws that the House Freedom Caucus closed for quick passage this week include bills to vaccinate all veterans and award the Gold Medal of Congressional to members of the Capitol Police Force and the Washington Metropolitan Police Department.

In addition to Congressman Greene, other members of the House Freedom Caucus include Representatives Andy Biggs (AZ), Mo Brooks (AL), Lauren Boebert (CO), Madison Cawthorn (NC), and Matt Gaetz (FL). Paul Gosar (AZ), Jody Hice (GA), Ronny Jackson (TX), Jim Jordan (OH), Devin Nunes (CA) and Chip Roy (TX).
