MAGA Rioter Simply Arrested for Assaulting Capitol Cops Refers to Himself because the ‘Sandwich Nazi’
George Pierre Tanios, a 39-year-old MAGA riot who was arrested Sunday for allegedly assaulting the late Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, describes himself as a “Sandwich Nazi” on his LinkedIn profile.
West Virginia Metro News reports that Tanios owns the Sandwich University Diner in Morgantown, West Virginia, which its website calls the “King of the Fat Sandwich”.
On his LinkedIn profile, Tanios cites work experience of being a “sandwich Nazi,” although it is not clear whether this is a comment on his own far-right political views that inspired him to close the United States Capitol on Jan. January on behalf of storming to keep former President Donald Trump in power.
Tanios also appears to have had an Instagram account called @thesandwichnazi that went offline. However, the Instagram profile for Sandwich University still mentions it.
Tanios and 32-year-old Pennsylvanian Julian Elie Khater were arrested this week on charges of assaulting Sicknick, who was hospitalized after the riot, before dying hours later with two other police officers.
Khater and Tanios are facing a total of nine criminal charges and will appear in court on Monday.
The post MAGA Rioter, who was just arrested for assaulting Capitol cops, refers to himself when the “Sandwich Nazi” first appeared in the New Civil Rights Movement.
