Jen Psaki Buries Fox Information’ Peter Doocy: Attempting to ‘Disprove a Unfavourable’ Is ‘By no means the Accountable Strategy’

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was challenged again by Fox News Reporter Peter Doocy, who regularly tries to create news, often by relying on right-wing conspiracy theories as he did on Thursday.

“House Republicans claim they have ‘significant circumstantial evidence’ that COVID-19 originated in a laboratory,” Doocy told Psaki, addressing Fox News and right-wing topics of conversation. “Has the White House seen any evidence that it wasn’t from a laboratory?”

Psaki didn’t seem to care about Doocy’s recent attempt to hit the headlines and stuck to her usual role of educator when speaking with the Fox News reporter.

“Well, I think first of all I would like to warn you not to refute any negative there, which we believe is never the responsible approach when it comes to investigating the causes of a pandemic affecting hundreds of thousands of people in the United States States killed has states. “

Psaki went further on Doocy’s question.

“I will say that our view remains that an independent, transparent investigation is required and that it must be done with the cooperation and data of the Chinese government. We don’t currently have enough information to make an assessment, ”she added.
