Instacart Settles Fired Employee’s FMLA Go well with

Law360 (May 11, 2021, 6:40 p.m. EDT) – Instacart has settled claims by a former employee that the grocer violated federal law by preventing her and other employees from taking paid time off in connection with medical leave, parties said Tuesday in a filing in Georgia federal court.

In a notice, Instacart and Nieves Lopez told the court that after mediation they had in principle reached a settlement agreement and asked the court to uphold the proposed Family and Medical Leave Act class action.
