‘Inciter in Chief’ Trump ‘Praised and Inspired and Cultivated Violence’ Prices Lead Impeachment Supervisor
Leading impeachment executive for the Democrats, Maryland Congressman Jaime Raskin, opened the Senate trial on Wednesday by focusing on the violence caused by ex-President Donald Trump, whom he described as an “inciter in chief”.
“The evidence will show you that ex-President Trump wasn’t a bystander. The evidence will show that he clearly instigated the January 6 riot. It will show that Donald Trump gave up his role as Commander in Chief and became Commander in Chief, ”Raskin told the Senate.

“You will see a man during this process who praised, encouraged, and cultivated violence,” said Raskin.
“We have only just started fighting,” he says, more than a month after the elections. And that’s before MAGA’s 2nd Million March, a rally that ended in severe violence and even the burning of a church. “
“And as the president predicted, it was just the beginning. On December 19th, 18 days before January 6th, he informed his base where the battle would take place, that they would fight next. January 6th would be “wild,” he promised, “be wild,” said the President of the United States of America. And that also turned out to be true. You will see Donald Trump continued to aggressively promote his supporters in the days that followed on January 6th. “
“The event was scheduled for the protest at the exact time that Congress would meet in joint session to count the votes of the electoral college and finalize the 2020 presidential election. In fact, in the days leading up to the attack, you will learn that there were tons of social media posts, messages, and most importantly, credible reports from the FBI to the Capitol Police that the gathering of 1000 for the President other than America March was organized violently with guns and we’re aiming at the Capitol This mob was so openly organized because they were later shouting in these halls and posted on forums before the attack and were sent here by the President. You have been invited here by the President of the United States of America. “
