The US Supreme Court declined to hear a case requiring the standard workers to prove they are subject to retaliation for taking state-protected family and sick leave.

The judges said Monday they would not hear the case of Arlene Fry, an administrative assistant who said she was from Rand Construction Corp. was released, claiming she had been turned away for leave under the Family and Sick Leave Act.
