DOJ Drops Lawsuit Towards Melania Trump Pal Who Recorded Her Profanity-Laden Tirade About Youngsters in Cages and Christmas

The US Department of Justice has dropped a lawsuit against a former advisor and friend of Melania Trump. The Trump-era DOJ lawsuit against Stephanie Winston Wolkoff has been viewed by many as frivolous and vengeful.

Wolkoff had recorded conversations between her and the now-former First Lady, and released some of them to the media last year.

During one notorious conversation, Ms. Trump is heard saying, “They said, ‘Oh, what about the kids you separated?’ Give me a break. “

In another she says: “Who gives something about Christmas things and decorations?

The tapes were released in October 2020.

Here is the transcript in context:

“They say I am complicit. I’m just like him, I support him. I’m not saying enough I’m not doing enough, ”she said on a tape. “I work like Christmas stuff you know, who doesn’t give a shit about Christmas stuff and decorations? But i have to do it right Right? Okay, and then I’ll do it. And I say I’m working on the Christmas planning for Christmas. And they said, “Oh, what about the kids that they got separated?” Give me a fucking break. Where did you say something when Obama did that? “

The Trump DOJ had alleged that Wolkoff had violated the terms of their nondisclosure agreement, they had complied.

Law.com’s Mike Scarcella posted the court order.

The conservative expert David Frum called the lawsuit “an abuse of state power for personal revenge by Melania Trump”.

Attorney Bradley Moss calls the former first lady “an irritable and tiny person unworthy of her role.”

Now that this lawsuit is over, I’d love to see Wolkoff follow up @MELANIATRUMP for getting the DOJ to file a stupid lawsuit that was dead on arrival and flown in the face of decades of first amendment precedent.

Forever an irritable and tiny person unworthy of their role. https://t.co/HS8PMcYV6y
