(WILX) – COVID-19 is forcing many celebrations to be held virtually, including the National Civil Rights Museum’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration.
The King Day event will showcase the work of Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr., the history of the National Day, and how the Memphis, TN museum has celebrated the holiday over the years.
The celebration will also include musical performances and speeches from museum volunteers.
The event starts on Monday lunchtime.
