Anderson Cooper Will get Private About Fatherhood: ‘I Want I Had Finished It Sooner’

American journalist and television presenter Anderson Cooper had a personal conversation on Friday about SiriusXM’s quarantine with Bruce, in which he talked about how he wished to be a father early.

The 53-year-old CNN host welcomed his first child, son Wyatt Morgan, as a replacement on Monday April 27. He is co-parents of Wyatt and his former partner Benjamin Maisani.

“I don’t think I would have made the decision if I didn’t really feel ready, and I definitely feel like this is absolutely what I should be doing. I wish I had done it sooner, “he said on the show. “I was able to spend whole days, really all of my time with him during this pandemic. It was great. “

He added, “I’ve never woken up early in the morning, but now I jumped out of bed at 7 a.m. with no alarm and want to be there when he wakes at 8:45 a.m.,” he said. “I just love every aspect of it. It really is the best ever. I feel like what I did before I dont know.”
