Ted Cruz Mocked as a ‘Fraud’ for Attacking California Now That Hundreds of thousands in Texas Have Misplaced Energy

Apparently, Texan politicians love to attack other American states in order to promote the Lone Star State as a kind of nirvana that is completely independent of the United States of America. Even their advertising slogan for tourism makes it clear that Texas doesn’t want anything to do with the rest of America: “Texas. It’s like being in a completely different country. “

Governor Gregg Abbott attacks the Golden State often, sometimes with bizarre explanations that reveal a desperate rivalry, at least on the part of Texas:

I just signed a resolution that #Texas is the official hashtag of Texas. TAKE THE #California. #txlege #toomanylaws

– Greg Abbott (@GregAbbott_TX) June 11, 2015

Texas beats California again: Toyota moves its headquarters from CA to TX. I will consider TX the best place for business http://t.co/mJvWuix2nD

But it is this tweet from Texas GOP Senator Ted Cruz, who is still under fire for his role in the January 6 riot, that many ridicule him.

Last summer California suffered from power outages that were the result of an “extreme heat wave due to climate change.”

Rather than expressing sympathy or saying nothing at all, Cruz made a nasty attack on California for “not even being able to perform basic functions of civilization, such as reliable electricity.”

California is now incapable of performing even basic civilization functions, such as reliable electricity.

Biden / Harris / AOC want to make CA’s failed energy policy the national standard.

Hope you don’t like air conditioning! https://t.co/UkKBq9HkoK

Millions of Texans are now in the middle of a winter storm that dropped snow and drove temperatures below freezing, with no electricity. Dallas-Fort Worth Airport recorded a negative temperature of 1 degree on Tuesday morning.

Texas is in crisis, and to be fair, only those who contributed to the failed political systems that contributed to this catastrophe and refused to accept the reality of climate change should be mocked or criticized to react. People in Texas are injured and some have died.

But now that tweet has come back to haunt Cruz.

Hey @tedcruz, why can’t Texas even do basic civilization functions like reliable electricity? https://t.co/XktJ5M4ADp

God you are a scam

That has aged badly, Ted.

We don’t have power everywhere in the Great F ** king State of Texas right now.

This is the first stretch of more than 30 minutes of strength I’ve had since waking up today.

PS Climate change is real and catastrophic. Find out, sucker.

Hey Ted! It was 5 down when I got up this morning, it’s 7 up and it’s snowing like crazy here in Wisconsin now and everyone has working electricity!

Tell us more about the paradise you call Texas …

Got more hot takes for the Texas people to heat their homes now, Ted?

I think this means AOC is now the governor of Texas. Https://t.co/bi9PRoIFFI

My parents were in Houston without power for almost 24 hours, they no longer even have blackouts in Houston. It looks like Republicans like you took energy for granted and didn’t invest enough in the Texas power grid.

The danger of karmic payback is that people who don’t deserve it often encounter boomerangs – in this case, the disabled, the elderly, and the chronically ill, who are hardest hit by the weather during the Texas climate crisis. https://t.co/fagnPHYOiH

Wait till he hears how his own state is doing with electricity …

Ted Cruz is the only person in Texas who’s allowed to be a complacent bastard right now.

Please direct all of your annoying complacent posts about the current situation here specifically to ted cruz. https://t.co/zP5dc2dkT7

Ted is still fighting with @AOC. But didn’t your governor, who last week called for US suspension, called for Biden’s support yesterday? What if you actually worked for your constituents in Texas and stopped fighting and spreading bullshit lies? Https://t.co/49JAxtRfIs
