Nationwide Middle for Civil and Human Rights debuts immersive digital tour with help from Cox Enterprises

AtlantaOne-Stop-Productions filmed a high-resolution 360-degree video tour that recreates the museum’s visual and acoustic exhibits down to the smallest detail. Visitors can move through exhibits such as “Rolls Down Like Water,” which depicts the history of the American civil rights movement, and “The Spark of Conviction,” which examines the modern global struggle for human rights.

“The inspiring stories we tell about rights, dignity and justice will be available to everyone – anywhere, anytime, for free,” he said Jill Savitt, President and CEO of the Center. “The story we present is directly relevant to the Movement for Justice and Justice for Black Lives, and enables people to understand how they can use their own power to change the world. We are Cox Enterprises extraordinary grateful that they made this possible. ”

The center reopened its building to the public September 4th, after closing since the 14th of March due to COVID-19 security concerns.

“With all the challenges our world is facing today, institutions like the National Center for Civil and Human Rights are more important than ever,” he said Bob Jimenez, Senior vice president of public affairs at Cox Enterprises. “We are proud to support the centre’s mission to empower everyone, especially young people, to stand up for human rights in their communities and learn more about the legacy of civil rights icons.”

The virtual tour complements the ongoing weekly program the center offers as part of its campaign for equal dignity, which has curated numerous interesting conversations and opportunities to explore basic civil rights related to health security, economic stability, quality education, voting rights and justice for all to address. Cox Enterprises was also a generous supporter of the Campaign for Equal Dignity.

The 360 degree interactive virtual tour allows visitors to click and drag the virtual camera using a desktop computer for an even more immersive experience. Visitors using an Android, iOS or tablet device can simply pan / tilt the device in the direction they want. The virtual tour can be found on the NCCHR website at https://www.civilandhumanrights.org/explore/the-center-map/.
