Walmart Sued Over Cashiered Cashier’s ADA Discrimination Claims

A former Walmart cashier who claims she has been fired from her job has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and requested to provide a chair if needed, has sued the retail giant and has made claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The complaint that Buckley Beal’s attorneys filed Tuesday on behalf of Eviana Lukes in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia also said Walmart had illegally struggled against her for granting an exemption under the Family and Medical Leave Act had applied.
