Tucker Carlson Says COVID Vaccines Are ‘Anti-White’ as Anti-Vaxxers Practice Of us to Refuse Them

In the aftermath of Tucker Carlson Tonight on Friday, the Fox News commentator accused the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of suggesting distributing COVID-19 vaccinations based on race rather than need. Carlson’s claims were a deliberate misrepresentation of a CDC presentation about the groups most in need of vaccination.

In the presentation, the CDC said that health workers, adults 65 and over, people at high risk of disease, and key workers would receive vaccinations as the first vaccinations.

In explaining why these groups were first selected for vaccination, the CDC mentioned that essential workers are usually poor and colored people who cannot work from home. People of color also tend to be underrepresented in people 65 and over (meaning they don’t usually live that long). Therefore, vaccinating key workers, the majority of whom are poor and colored, will help reduce health inequalities between these communities.

Mind you, this was a presentation about groups in Phase 1 of the vaccine distribution list. You’re all in this group, they’re all as close to the top of the line as possible. pic.twitter.com/475LdxSmQL

Always trying to stir up racial resentment and outrage, Carlson explained the presentation as follows:

“It is true that more lives would be saved if the elderly were given priority access to the vaccine. But here’s the problem, quote, race and ethnic minorities are underrepresented among adults 65 and over. Therefore, older people should not be a top priority. “

He went on, “In other words, it’s completely racist. You make the decision based on race. Kathleen Dooling’s presentation concluded that handing out life-saving drugs based on skin color would mitigate health inequalities. Of course it would kill people, and she effectively admits that. But the people who would kill are of an unfavorable race, so it’s not a big deal. It’s been a very long time since anyone close to what we consider mainstream to have advocated eugenics, which is exactly it – it is eugenics. “

Media Matters writer Parker Molloy pointed out that after his misrepresentation, Carlson effectively turned Dooling into a target for harassment and death threats.

California Democratic Representative Eric Swalwell commented on Carlson’s untruths by asking, “How many people did Tucker Carlson try to kill tonight?”

Atlantic science journalist Ed Yong pointed out that people under 65 are disproportionately likely to die of COVID-19 at higher rates, which explains why the CDC wants to vaccinate them.

This paper is not getting enough attention. It shows that black / Latinos / indigenous people not only die more often from Covid than whites, but also * younger *.

90% of white deaths among 65+
90% of black deaths among 55+
89% of indigenous deaths in 45+ https: //t.co/klmmxIPqik

MSNBC commentator Chris Hayes pointed out that Fox News is owned by Rupert Murdoch, who received a COVID vaccine himself this week.

As Carlson gets these dangerous biases under control, anti-Vaxxers are flooding Facebook and YouTube with videos teaching people how to refuse vaccinations.

President-elect Joe Biden said he will not make vaccines mandatory nationwide, although employers and states may require people to be vaccinated before going back to work, schools and colleges, USA Today reports.
