Trump Mocked After WSJ Experiences He Desires to Begin a New ‘Patriot Get together’ – The Unique Was Linked to the Black Panthers

President Donald Trump has been talking about the creation of a new political party, the Patriot Party, in the last few days. Social media users instantly mocked Trump – not only because he wanted to start a new party given his historically unpopular election numbers, but also because of the name he had chosen for his new group.

Late last week, former Trump Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told Foreign Policy that President Trump just didn’t know the story.

“His understanding of global events, his understanding of global history, his understanding of US history was really limited,” Tillerson said. “It’s really hard to have a conversation with someone who doesn’t even understand the concept of why we’re talking about it.”

The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday night that Trump would name his new political party the Patriot Party.

Unsurprisingly, there was a Patriot Party back in the 1960s. It ended in the 80s. Trump lived through those years but apparently missed it.

The Patriot Party was affiliated with the Black Panthers, a radical left political group against racism that disbanded in the early 1980s. It grew through community organization and became popular with poor rural Americans by advocating for free basic necessities like food and wood for stoves.

Trump is apparently not the first in the past few days to come up with the idea. It’s been rolling around on social media since last month.

Trump’s irony of wanting to found the Patriot Party is enormous.

The Patriot Party was a rural white socialist organization closely associated with Jesse Jackson and black panthers. It was founded after the United Front Against Fascism conference in 1969.

You mustn’t know that Google exists because a Patriot Party took place in the United States between 1960 and 1980. Elected liberally, founded in part by the Black Panthers, and would be the enemy of this current attitude towards the party. Damn idiots
