Trump Acquitted of Incitement of Rebel – Senate Republicans Lead Not Responsible Vote Regardless of Huge Proof

Kevin McCarthy called the White House on January 6, when violent domestic terrorists and insurgents attacked the Capitol House minority GOP leader.

A screaming match followed after President Donald Trump told McCarthy that the rioters cared more about the elections than top Republicans, CNN reports.

It didn’t go well.

“Well, Kevin, I think these people are more upset about the election than you are,” said Trump McCarthy, according to two GOP lawmakers who were informed of the call.

CNN reports that McCarthy angrily insisted “the rioters were Trump’s supporters and asked Trump to cancel them.”

“Who the hell are you thinking you’re talking to?” McCarthy told Trump, say lawmakers.

The details “provide a critical look into the state of mind of the president as rioters overran the Capitol,” adds CNN. Republican Congressmen said the exchange showed Trump had no intention of canceling the rioters even when lawmakers asked him to step in. Some said it was a violation of his presidential duties. “

Trump “is not an impeccable observer, he chose her,” said a Republican member of Congress. “On January 13th, Kevin McCarthy said on the floor of the house that the President is in charge and he does.”

Wolf Blitzer reports that the call shows: “Trump had no intention of calling the rioters even when McCarthy and other members pleaded with him.”
