‘Truest Factor You Have Stated All 12 months’

US Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), one of former President Donald Trump’s most dedicated acolytes, attempted to light their constituents Thursday in a falsified attack on House Democrats’ law that protects and expands the right to vote.

The House passed HR1, the For the People Act, by a narrow margin of 220 to 210 on Wednesday. It is now going to the Senate, where it will face extreme resistance. The bill is hugely popular with US voters, but not GOP senators.

Blackburn downright lied about what the legislation does and doesn’t do in a long line of tweets, but it was her opening recording that caught the attention of many for grossly misinterpreting the nation’s thoughts on the franchise and the 2020 elections.

Despite Blackburn and the GOP’s lies about the election, Joe Biden was elected president in a free and fair election. More Americans from both parties voted than ever before in history, and at a higher rate than in at least a century of the “safest” US election in history.

Much of this was due to the decision by states to significantly expand voting by post. 46 percent of the more than 155 million voters stated that they cast their votes via the postal service or via mailboxes.

Senator Blackburn seems to believe that all of this is bad for America.

If you liked the way the 2020 elections were conducted, you will love HR 1

She decided to lie about HR1, boasting that she would do anything to keep the bill from being passed on:

The law on voting rights does not help to secure elections, it only increases the possibility of electoral fraud.
For Democrats, it’s about power – I’ll get this legislation under control. 2 /

– Senator Marsha Blackburn (@MarshaBlackburn) March 4, 2021

HR 1 enables electoral fraud by reducing the accuracy of government voter lists. It prescribes automatic registration from several databases that are not designed to protect voting security. 5 /

– Senator Marsha Blackburn (@MarshaBlackburn) March 4, 2021

HR 1 unconstitutionally restricts the use of civil and non-profit organizations. 7 /

There is more, but you get the picture.

Americans certainly did and made fun of the far right Republican from Tennessee. Look here:

Does she have any confidence about how stupid that sounds to people who aren’t drunk on the Big Lie Kool-Aid? https://t.co/r2aeGiuk8G

I didn’t expect @MarshaBlackburn to fully support HR1. Thanks, Marsha. https://t.co/ZT4jk3UqLt

This is the woman who put down three electoral security laws and then complained about the lack of security / transparency in the 2020 elections.

(Your party controlled the Senate and the Presidency. If you didn’t like it, it will change …) https://t.co/aoEztqEksy

As William Barr noted, there was no widespread fraud in the 2020 election. However, there was widespread electoral repression by the GOP. HRI is correcting the situation by making it difficult for the GOP to suppress voices.

Read: “If you don’t like the fact that Black ppl voted en masse for Democratic candidates in 2020, don’t support HR 1.”

Trump really encouraged these racist Azz people. You say the quiet part out loud now. https://t.co/i4xAzBpw5K

In this sprawling thread held together by bullshit, @MarshaBlackburn just goes on a rampage. I wonder if she actually read the bill? https://t.co/iDy2Obgvq7

– Fairness Doctrine Now (@ScienceMilk) March 4, 2021

Marsha accidentally made an argument in favor of HR 1. Those reactionary right wingers are so damn stupid. https://t.co/KReJ5RRRny

– PoppaBear (@APoppaBear) March 4, 2021

We love it. Since the GOP attorney trying to argue against it in the Supreme Court had to answer a question he couldn’t answer, he was asked why all of this was necessary.
He said the GOP couldn’t win without suppressing voters.
2020 was the best in terms of number and quality https://t.co/j85bLAysmn

Hahaha, you mean the safest and most secure choice in US history as described by Republicans like Chris Krebs ?! With the exception of GQP – BIG LIE, the 2020 election was fantastic !! 👍👏😂

– CK (@ Kingme32) March 4, 2021

@ MarshaBlackburn means did you like the LIES about the 2020 elections? Are you for or against democracy? The @GOP lied about fraud – nothing found in multiple court cases. They want it to be more difficult to vote and they have tried to discard legal votes and election results … # Sedition https://t.co/wxxbjRRjuj

Over 81 million people were happy with the outcome of the 2020 election, Marsha 😂 pic.twitter.com/7QA1YXhevs

How stupid are you There was no fraud.

Trump’s own election tsar:

“This was the safest choice in US history.”

Trump & the rest of the clowns have been in court cases since Nov. 3, 0 for 60.

Probably half of those decisions were made by Republican / Trump-appointed judges

There. Is. Mass. Voter. Scam.

Just say it, “I’m a fanatic who thinks old white men should keep telling everyone how it goes on even if they’re terrible at it.”

– Sittin ‘Thinkin’ Sinnin ‘Grinnin’ (@SittinThinkin) March 4, 2021

Sweet. I loved the way the 2020 elections were conducted. It was so easy and safe to choose.

Does that mean you’ll be voting for the bill?
