Rubio Slammed After Threatening Firms He Claims Are ‘Bending a Knee to Woke Progressive Craziness’
US Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) has decided to crown himself leader of what he claims to be “the GOP’s work to rebuild – and balance – the relationship between our nation and its big corporations” waging a merciless war against traditional values ”.
In a New York Post titled “Corporations That Undermine American Values Don’t Deserve GOP Support,” the Florida Republican threatens American corporations with increased regulation and taxes just for exercising First Amendment rights after failing to do so more support right-wing extremism of the Republican Party on social issues.
“No policymaker would allow a company to dump toxic waste into a river upstream of a thriving city they are supposed to rule,” wrote Rubio, who said fighting climate change “just isn’t good public order” five years ago.
“But the American corporation has been busy throwing awakened, toxic nonsense into our culture, and it’s getting more and more destructive over time. These campaigns are being received with the same vigor any other polluter should expect, ”he said in an attempt to hugely push back and ridicule social media.
“Our nation needs a thriving private economy. And patriotic corporate governance has historically underpinned the American dream. But lawmakers who slept behind the wheel for too long, especially within my own party, need to wake up. America’s laws should anchor our nation’s businesses firmly in our national common good. “
Rubio, who publishes a quote from the Bible every morning, is literally threatening companies that don’t go along with Republican politics, which other GOP lawmakers have done in the past few weeks after Major League Baseball pulled the Atlanta All-Star game .
He adds, “Taking aggressive positions on awakened cultural issues that destroy our national fabric seems like an easy way to avoid boycotts of activists. But those of us charged with keeping America strong recognize that these positions pose the greatest threat to our long-term viability, “which has been proven wrong.
The letter in the New York Post in lieu of the Sun Sentinel strongly signals that Rubio is preparing for another presidential election despite promising never to run for political office again, including his own Senate seat, after the last one. He later revoked.
Rubio’s attempt to threaten corporations and position himself as the nation’s moral leader did not go down well.
