“I’m sorry,” Cuomo said after his coronavirus briefing, the first in several days. He said he had no idea anyone was feeling uncomfortable. He said repeatedly that he was “embarrassed”.
“I now understand that I acted in a way that made people feel uncomfortable. It was unintentional and I really and deeply apologize for it … I have never touched anyone inappropriately. “

When asked if he should step aside, Cuomo told reporters, “I will work with the Attorney General’s investigation.”
“I have never touched anyone inappropriately. I never knew then that I made someone feel uncomfortable, “said Cuomo, repeatedly apologizing.
Some refer to this photo as evidence that its “custom” was inappropriate.
There is now a third charge against Cuomo. And a photo of the moment.

Fox News notes, “Nearly 30 New York Democratic and Republican lawmakers have declared that Cuomo should either resign or face impeachment.”
One of the three women said the harassment took place at a wedding reception in 2019. Anna Ruch says Cuomo asked if he could kiss her after touching her inappropriately.
“Mr. Cuomo put his hand on Ms. Ruch’s bare lower back, she said in an interview Monday,” reports the New York Times.
“When she removed his hand with her own, Ms. Ruch noticed, the governor noticed that she was looking ‘aggressive’ and put his hands on her cheeks. He asked if he could kiss her loud enough for a nearby friend to hear. Frau Ruch was confused by the request, she said, and withdrew as the governor approached. “
“I was so confused and shocked and embarrassed,” said Ms. Ruch, whose memory was confirmed by the friend, simultaneous text messages and photos from the event. “I turned my head away and at that moment I had no words.”
