QAnon Cultist Businessman Goes on Newsmax to Say ‘Trump Is President’ and JFK Jr. Is His Veep
During his 22 years at the Central Intelligence Agency, Michael F. Scheuer was best known for the time he spent tracking down Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. But Scheuer left the CIA in 2004 and is best known today for his violent rhetoric and predilection for far-right conspiracy theories. Journalist Spencer Ackerman wrote an in-depth article this week on the history of the Daily Beast.
Ackerman, who specializes in national security issues, describes Scheuerer’s journey from CIA agent to conspiracy theorist. And today, according to Ackerman, Scheuer does not shy away from calling for violence against fellow US citizens.
“The former senior CIA official who was once responsible for the hunt for Osama bin Laden spent the summer demanding the slaughter of his fellow Americans,” said Ackerman. “Michael Scheuer calls Black Lives Matter a ‘terror organization’ and a ‘half-human mob’. In his blog and podcast, Scheuer rages against a widespread, treacherous conspiracy that targets not only President Trump, but also the basic character of the American republic. It deserves the punishment…. We have never seen in this country. ‘”
Ackerman notes that Scheuer Rittenhouse – who is charged with the alleged shooting of two protesters at a protest against Black Lives Matter in Kenosha, Wisconsin – is charged with the alleged shooting of two protesters as a “young hero” militia formation in the United States. “Scheuer called George Floyd, whose brutal killing by police officers in Minneapolis on May 25th sparked protests against racism around the world, as” criminal scum “.
“Scheuer’s advocacy of violence goes a long way,” explains Ackerman. “In December he endorsed the increasingly violent QAnon conspiracy movement, which the FBI has identified as a potential source of domestic terrorism.”
In July, Scheuer said that if civil war broke out in the US, the “only thing he would be” upset about “would be” that not enough Democrats would be killed. “
“Anti-terrorism experts have long since written off Scheuer as a crank,” notes Ackerman. “But Scheuer’s advocacy of political violence looks worryingly like a harbinger. Trump’s one-time advisor, Roger Stone, urged Trump to declare martial law and put his critics in jail if he loses the November election. “
Glenn Carle, a retired CIA chief who knew Scheuer’s associate, told the beast, “He’s always been an extremist. It’s a psychological quality, not a political quality of his. Clearly and invariably, he is so derogatory that he is grotesque in his injustice to any political figure who shows any moderation. “
Carle also said of Scheuer: “In times of stress we are unconsciously tribesmen and entrails. This is what happens in American society in a broader sense, and that is exactly what happens to Scheuer. “
