Patrick Mincey appointed to nationwide civil rights fee
Patrick Mincey, a partner at Cranfill Sumner LLP, has been appointed to the NC Advisory Board of the US Civil Rights Commission, according to a press release.
Mincey began his role on the committee in May, officials said.
“The US Civil Rights Commission, established under the Civil Rights Act of 1957, is a bipartisan, independent federal commission that investigates, reports and makes recommendations to the President of the United States and Congress on civil rights issues across the country she pronounces. State advisory committees are examining various issues related to the criminal justice system such as police practices, hate crimes, voting rights and solitary confinement issues in the prison system, ”the statement said.
Mincey is based in CSH Law’s offices in Wilmington and Raleigh. He chairs the firm’s White Collar, Government Investigations & Special Matters practice.

Mincey represents domestic and foreign clients in litigation across the United States and in investigations worldwide, officials said in the press release.
