Mayor of Stonecrest on medical go away after most cancers prognosis | Information

The DeKalb County Mayor of Stonecrest is on vacation until further notice as he is being treated for cancer.

Mayor Jason Lary released a statement Monday morning saying he will be undergoing cancer treatment in his third round in the past two years. After contracting COVID-19 in December and returning from surgery early, longer therapy is required.

Lary thanked the Emory team at the Winship Cancer Institute and Kaiser Permanente Georgia for their hard work and promised his family that when he recovered from this recent battle, he would take it easy.
