US MP Matt GaetzJoel Greenberg, the “wingman” of “Wingman”, is expected to close a plea deal with prosecutors and a federal court, according to several reports. According to Tom Winter, NBC News Correspondent for Investigations, Greenberg is facing dozens of “substitutions for charges related to stalking, illicit personal information gathering, identity theft, cable fraud and underage sex trafficking.”
It is not currently known whether this plea deal includes a collaboration agreement, but either way, as CNN Congressional correspondent Ryan Nobles reports, a “deal would put Gaetz under pressure because Greenberg would have to share what he had about his friend and co-worker.” White.”
“Federal government attorneys and Greenberg’s attorney told a judge the deal was still ongoing, but there is an expectation that it could be resolved in the next few months,” added CNN’s Paul Reid.
New York Times Justice Department reporter Katie Benner, who co-wrote several Times bomb reports on Gaetz, added that a May 15 deadline has been set.

Gaetz is being investigated by the DOJ, allegedly because of possible child trafficking and a possible sexual relationship with a 17-year-old. It was revealed on Wednesday that the investigation included his trip to the Bahamas, where a marijuana dealer, doctor and donor allegedly “paid” for flights, hotel stays and escorts.
Earlier this week, Politico reported that Greenberg, a Florida tax collector, had an office in Seminole County, which “was the only one in the state where workers were armed with guns and body armor.
