Marjorie Taylor Greene Once more Tries to Block LGBTQ Equality Act Vote by Forcing Movement to Adjourn

The “QAnon Congressman” Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) tried again Thursday afternoon to block a vote on the LGBTQ Equality Act by calling for the House to be adjourned and forcing every member to take the floor to vote.

The move disrupts committee hearings and all other business conducted by each representative. Newcomer Georgia Republican made the same motion Wednesday, with the backing of every single Republican, as House 214-202 voted against the adjournment in a fully partisan vote.

Today’s vote is still ongoing.

On Thursday, Greene suggested wearing a mask that read “Joe Biden is as useless as this mask” that it speaks for the entire Republican caucus, who are “very offended.” Democrats “claim” Republicans “had something to do with January” 6 insurrection. On Wednesday, a CNN report confirmed that at least one “close ally” of Greene was present on Capitol Hill during the attack.

Greene Thursday also lied on the floor of the house, stating that the Equality Act is not about stopping discrimination. It’s about discriminating against women and religious freedoms. “

“I would like to apply for adjournment, Spokeswoman,” she concluded.

On the floor of the house, Marjorie Taylor Greene claims she was a “victim” of the January 6 riot she encouraged, adding: “The Equality Act is not about stopping discrimination. It’s about discriminating against women and religious freedoms. “Pic.twitter.com/6h7rCrpPxa
