Marjorie Taylor Greene Mentioned She Stopped Posting Conspiracies After Her Marketing campaign. She Lied.

In her speech Thursday, before the House decided to remove all of her committee duties, Georgia Republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene said she has not expressed support for any of the extremist conspiracy theories she previously pointed out since taking office social media. However, that is a lie.

“I haven’t said a single QAnon in my entire campaign,” Greene said in her speech on Thursday. “I have never said anything that I am accused of today during my campaign. I haven’t said any of this since I was elected to Congress. Those were words from the past. “

To be clear, Greene has not in the past been “accused” of saying extremist things – she said them directly through her own social media account. It is not an accusation that she advocated violence against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and former President Barack Obama. She said that a plane never hit the Pentagon during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. All the school shootings were staged events to increase gun regulations Rich Jews used a space laser to start the 2020 west coast forest fires. She told them. Point.

But it wasn’t until January 31st that Green posted a tweet calling anyone who resisted her a pedophile, a dog whistle for her QAnon followers.

“What would the list of anti-Trump pedos and employees look like?” Your tweet started. “It would probably contain everyone who is currently foaming with MTG hatred. List though. Do not do that? They put us all on the list. After me, there are more Republicans on their list. “

What would the list of anti-Trump pedos and employees look like?

It would likely include all of the people currently foaming with MTG hatred.

List though.

Do not do that?

They put us all on the list.

After me, there are more Republicans on their list. https://t.co/SQJdnSHJ2M

Pedos in this case is not just a gross insult accusing its opponents of child rape, but a barely disguised reference to QAnon, a conspiracy theory that believes that Democrats and Hollywood elites are an international, satanist, cannibalist child trafficking torture ring and it fits Greene’s earlier statements in support of QAnon.

In the past, Greene has accused former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of having a child’s face cut off and carried before they drank the child’s blood. She also accused Obama of launching a citizenship program for undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States as children to harass children and have their organs removed.

While she may not have uttered the word “QAnon” since the beginning of her term, she doesn’t have to. QAnon supporters are great at recording dog whistles and keywords like “pedos” to identify their enemies and allies. And Greene, like everyone else, knows that if you accuse someone of raping and slaughtering children, you are also calling for violence against that person, whether you say it outright or not.
