Kansas GOP Lawmaker Kicked Scholar within the Testicles on ‘Directions From God’: Police
A Republican representative from the state of Kansas, who was caught on camera as a substitute teacher earlier this year, has now been accused of kicking one of his students in the testicles.
The Kansas City Star reports that Kansas State Rep. Mark Samsel is on three assault charges for physically assaulting two teenage students, including one who told police that Samsel kicked him in the crotch.
Court files released this week show that Samsel told police he did not want to harm any of his students, and he speculated that a student he grabbed got away with bruising because they “gently” bruised.
The Kansas City Star also notes that Samsel told investigators that he was acting on “God’s orders” to physically discipline students.
The star’s report tells of a damn testimony given by one of the police students to the police about Samsel’s behavior.
“The student, whose name has been edited, said Samsel threatened to kick him in the balls, which he initially ignored because he didn’t think a teacher would ever do it,” the newspaper writes. “About 10 minutes later he said Samsel kicked his testicles.”
The video, recorded that day and posted on the Internet, did not show Samsel kicking the student in the groin despite making furious threats against students while extorting abuse of homosexuality, suicide and masturbation.
The Kansas GOP legislature kicked students in the testicles over “orders from God”: the police first appeared in the New Civil Rights Movement.
