Joe Biden Met With Civil Rights Leaders, and I’m Going to Want Him to Watch His Tone

If you are a black person you already know what I am talking about. If you’re a white reader, let me explain something that doesn’t work for blacks around the world: tone. Tone is raising your voice. It can also be associated with “talking to me like I’m a bloody kid”. It is usually met with a confused look and possibly even a turned head to see if the perpetrator might be talking to someone else in the area, and most likely followed by, “Who the hell are you talking to?”

With that, I respectfully say to President-Elect Joe Biden, “Who the hell are you talking to?”

Biden was apparently on what our ancestors call “one” when speaking to civil rights leaders. In leaked audio tracks reportedly from the virtual meeting, Biden appears at some point to raise his voice and claim that he is the only one willing to “run on Charlottesville.”

Listen to this shit here:

Oh, and he wasn’t done yet. Biden also appeared to suggest that Defund the Police is at least partially responsible for the Democrats’ gloomy demeanor at voting rounds, even adding that civil rights activists need to be more careful with their criminal reports.

“This is how they beat living hell out of us all over the country,” said Biden. Um, let me stop this man here. While Biden used “knocking the living hell out of us” as a metaphor for losing votes, the former vice president was unaware that he was speaking to a room full of people who fought for blacks and literally “knocked the living hell out of them” or got worse from the police.

He continued: “… and said that we are talking about defusing the police. Were not. We’re talking about holding them accountable, ”Biden said on Tuesday, but the news won’t come to light until audio is leaked. NBC News Reports.

Biden began addressing issues of systemic racism but pledged to keep his promise to address it, adding that we shouldn’t get “too far ahead” in a critical runoff to the Senate in Georgia on January 5th.

“We can go very far. It matters how we do it. I think how we do it matters, ”reported NBC News.

When Kamala’s little friend, aka Father crimeDon’t go away with this bullshit of respectability politics against systemic racism when blacks are disproportionately fucked over more than any other race. But Biden believes that if we are systematically beaten over and over again, we will have to watch the tone in our voices as we scream.

Some civil rights activists have had the audacity to ask Biden to use his executive powers to help reform the criminal justice system, such as creating a national database of police misconduct.

Biden said he was ready to reverse much of Trump’s bullshit by order of the executive but added, “I will not break the constitution.”

“Where I have executive power, I’ll use it to undo every damn thing that guy of executive power did,” Biden said on Audio, NBC News reported. “But I will not exercise executive power if there is a question of where to come and say I can get rid of offensive weapons. There is no executive power for that. And no one has fought harder to get rid of offensive weapons than me, me. You cannot do it by order of the executive. “

Biden’s direct and lively style has become a cornerstone of his legacy, and not something his press office wants to shrink from.

His transition team didn’t deny that this was Biden in the audio, and in fact doubled his position and tone; At least this is what the statement they made to NBC News goes like this:

“President-elect Biden is the same person behind closed doors that he is public. Honest, direct, and realistic about the challenges our nation faces on the day he is sworn in. As he has made clear throughout the campaign, he believes in supporting bold and urgent reforms to our criminal justice system while supporting the mission of law enforcement to keep our communities safe. “

But I still have a question: “Who the hell does he think he’s talking to?”
