Individuals Operations Supervisor – Hypepotamus

The People Operations Manager reports to the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and interacts with all employees and departments within Springbot, representing the department with strong functional skills, flexibility and exceptional integrity and professionalism.

This position is a key member of the Springbot leadership team and will implement, support and manage HR policies and procedures, support performance management across departments, oversee performance programs (via PEO), oversee communications between employees and departments, assist with payroll / HRIS Be, run the DEI team and initiatives, monitor compliance, and conduct onboarding and exit procedures.

This position harbors remarkable responsibility, accountability, and independent decision-making requirements that have a direct and significant impact on the organization.

Main duties and responsibilities

● Work with leadership teams to develop and implement effective policies and procedures that support the achievement of corporate goals in a manner consistent with the core values ​​of Springbot.

  • Monitor the process and targeting of new offerings, and work with managers on strategies for engagement and retention
  • Leading the Diversbot, Equity and Inclusion teams at Springbot and implementing initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with PEO and supplier contracts for ATS, HRIS and background checking software.
  • Support with payroll accounting for employees every six months; Maintain and review employee maintenance and payroll reports; Calculate any required earnings or deduction adjustments and enter them directly on the employee’s pay line.
  • Perform routine tasks necessary to administer and run HR programs including, but not limited to, promotion requests, changes in compensation, benefit registration and renewals, employee compensation, and LOAs. Disciplinary matters; Performance and talent management; Productivity, recognition and morals; Employee wellness; and training and development.
  • Attend employee performance meetings, layoffs, investigations, and exit interviews as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and labor law.
  • Ensure timely resolution of complex employee relationship issues by providing guidance to managers that uses good judgment, discretion, and a creative approach to problem solving.
  • Ensure consistent, timely, and accurate application of and compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Work with the Employee Experience Manager, a team member who oversees the employee experience from recruitment to onboarding and does the Springbot culture programming.
  • Complete ad hoc projects, reports, and tasks.

Desired education, skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a relevant field, or a combination of education and directly related experience.
  • SHRM certified
  • At least 3 years of relevant HR experience
  • Previous experience in helping implement HR programs and procedures to improve overall operations and organizational effectiveness.
  • Knowledge / experience regarding regional compliance (US and GA); Understanding of labor laws and employment practices and policies.

  • Thorough knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
