A historical marker commemorating one of Birmingham’s greatest foot soldiers during the civil rights movement was severely damaged in the past week. Named for Bishop Calvin Woods Sr., the man himself discovered the damage on Monday and shared his feelings with Jeff Eliasoph of WVTM 13. Hear more in the video above. A historical marker commemorating one of Birmingham’s greatest foot soldiers during the civil rights movement was severely damaged in the past week.
