Workers’ compensation company Summit announced that Greg Talbot has been promoted to vice president of actuarial science.
Talbot joined Summit in 2010 as an actuary responsible for overseeing interest rate and reserve adequacy, predictive modeling and internal reporting. Most recently he was Deputy Vice President for Actuarial Mathematics.
Talbot earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and was recognized as a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society in 2009.
Based in Lakeland, Florida, Summit is a worker compensation provider in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
