George Furlong Named Chief Technique Officer of Accuro Options| Staff Compensation Information

George Furlong has joined Accuro Solutions as chief strategy officer, the medical accounting and payment technology company announced on Tuesday.

In his new role, Furlong will work with Accuro executives to improve the management of medical payments.

Most recently, Furlong was Senior Vice President of Managed Care at Sedgwick Claims Management Inc.

Prior to joining Sedgwick, Furlong was the chief business intelligence officer at Universal Smart Comp. Previously, he was Senior Vice President, Program Development and Analytics at Bunch & Associates Inc. and previously Vice President of Business Development and Analytics at CHOICE Medical Management Services LLC.

He began his career in compensation for employees in the area of ​​information management and analysis at METRACOMP, a United HealthCare company.

Furlong holds a degree in finance and management from Rutgers University and is the vice chairman of the board of directors of URAC.

Accuro Solutions, based in Sarasota, Florida, provides invoice processing technology and services to property and casualty insurance companies.
