According to his LinkedIn profile, Ball started working as a planner and press assistant at Gaetz in 2018, became its press spokesman and in November 2019 its communications director.

Gaetz, who is being investigated over a possible sexual relationship with a 17-year-old and child trafficking, seems to suggest that there were some disagreements that led to his resignation and that it was a mutual decision:

Comes from the office in Gaetz:

“The office of Congressman Matt Gaetz and Luke Ball have agreed that it is best to split up. We thank him for his time in our office and wish him all the best for the future. “Https://

Ball was also Gaetz’s deputy campaign manager, working for Ron DeSantis’s campaign.

He began his career in politics as a congressional intern.

Ball hasn’t been particularly active on Twitter, but he retweeted an anti-LGBTQ hate group and posted this a month ago:

“I don’t know if I can see a show here … Pete (Hegseth) and Matt Gaetz … there is something.” – @ seanhannity

Post-Gaetz communications director Quit’s ‘Out of Principle’ first appeared in The New Civil Rights Movement.
