Former Decide Buchholz Dies at 92| Employees Compensation Information

The Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court announced that former Judge Mark A. Buchholz passed away at the age of 92.

Buchholz died in Lincoln on April 17th.

He was appointed to the court by Governor JJ Exon effective August 1, 1972, and served until his retirement on February 28, 1994. Buchholz returned to the bank from April 1, 2007 to September, to serve an additional six months. 30, 2007.

Buchholz worked in private legal practice before being appointed to court.

He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago in 1951 and his law degree from the University of Nebraska in 1955.
