US Representative Madison CawthornThe North Carolina Republican has been criticized for anti-Catholic bias – and ridiculed for ignorance – after attacking the Vatican over its new rule requiring all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they have a medical apology.

“That doesn’t sound legal …” said Cawthorn, an avid tweeter, from his official Congress Twitter account in response to the news. “You shouldn’t be forced to get vaccinated against their will. The vaccination is there for those who want it and who need it due to medical weaknesses. “

Cawthorn, who contributed to the January 6 riot, has no medical degree, including immunology. Nor does he have a law degree or a degree in public health or politics, or in religious studies or religious administration.

However, he has a very active Twitter account. An NCRM investigation of his recent tweets shows that the vast majority were attacks on Democrats and the media. Some of them are announcements of laws that he co-finances. A small minority of his tweets are related to North Carolina or its constituents.

Cawthorn has recently met Dr. CNN’s Anthony Fauci, New York Governor’s Chris Cuomo, Andrew Cuomo, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, President Joe Biden, Democrats in general and green energy attacked. And that’s just his from his official Twitter account in Congress, not his campaign account.

As most of you know, the Vatican is an independent city-state that is not subject to the laws of the United States or any other country.

Many, including this Catholic priest, questioned his assessment:
