Decrees guiding the implementation of the Labor Code 2019

As you may know, the new labor law was passed by the National Assembly on November 20, 2019 (Labor Code 2019) will come into force on January 1, 2021. It will drastically change various employment and labor regulations for companies operating in Vietnam.

MOLISA and the government are working very hard to finalize the four decrees that will guide the implementation of the Labor Code 2019, whose main decree on working conditions and employment relationship is more than 100 pages. We are closely following the drafting process of these decrees and actively contribute our expert opinions and input on practical issues through various business associations, including AmCham, EuroCham, VCCI and VBF.
