Chamber Holding Work Comp Convention in October| Staff Compensation Information

The Illinois Chamber of Commerce will hold its 14th Annual Conference on Workers Compensation and Safety on October 19th.

The event aims to educate employers about state employee compensation laws and how compensation costs can be reduced. The sessions will cover topics such as aging, obesity and other comorbidities, the state’s rebuttable presumption and COVID-19 allegations, the impact of the pandemic and an update from the Workers’ Compensation Commission.

Registration costs $ 249 for Chamber members and $ 289 for non-members through October 8th. Charges will increase by $ 50 starting October 9th.

The conference will take place from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm at the Doubletree Hilton, 3003 Corporate Drive West, in the western Chicago suburb of Lisle.
