The California Applicants’ Attorneys Association is hosting a webinar on September 11th to discuss issues related to the agreed procedures for medical assessors and qualified medical assessors.
The program addresses issues such as what to do before selecting a panel, what doctors should look out for in times of COVID-19, who should write an attorney’s letter, how the new doctor and lawyer fee schedule works, and how to get clients on it prepared an exam.
It will also investigate disputes attorneys have over what documents and information are sent to qualified medical assessors. Attendees will learn from an administrative judge how the Employee Compensation Appellate Body typically resolves these disputes, and from a certified QME, learn what information doctors find most relevant.
The program is 9 am-12:30pm on September 11th at the Hyatt Regency LAX, 6225 W. Century Blvd. in Los Angeles.
