Blackburn: Equality Is ‘Constitutional Assure’ and I Oppose ‘Regressive’ LGBTQ Equality Act
US Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) attacked the LGBTQ Equality Act on Wednesday, falsely claiming it was “regressive”, harming women, undermining women’s rights and suggesting that there is no reason to enact this legislation because of the Constitution already offers “equality”.
Blackburn, a far-right Republican who has allied herself very closely with former President Donald Trump and continues to defend him to this day, began her remarks to the Judicial Committee by claiming that she shared “great sympathy for anyone who feels weakened or discriminated against.”
“I believe that all human beings should be treated with dignity and respect,” continued Blackburn, although there is a long history of public speaking, and especially tweets, suggesting otherwise.
The left are the real culprits who commit double standards for women in this country.

Make no mistake: if the chance presents, the radical left will grab the courts.

Next week, the trusted liar Adam Schiff should be the first witness to testify publicly.
He must respond if his committee did not properly vote with the “whistleblower” to shut down @realDonaldTrump.

Blackburn went on to say that “everyone should be treated equally, this is a constitutional guarantee here in the United States that women have fought hard for equal treatment. The draft equality law undermines the struggle. “
