Biden Shifting Shortly to Fireplace Postmaster Common as DeJoy Tells Dems to ‘Get Used To Me’

President Joe Biden moves quickly to the fire Louis DeJoy. Or rather, since the president is not empowered to dismiss a postmaster general, he moves quickly to have him terminated.

Biden will nominate three candidates for the Postal Service’s Board of Governors, giving the Democrats a majority, reports the Washington Post.

The President will appoint Ron Stroman, the recently retired Assistant Postmaster General of the Postal Service. Amber McReynolds, executive director of the National Vote at Home Institute; and Anton Hajjar, the former General Counsel of the American Postal Workers Union, ”reports the Post.

McReynold’s inclusion was welcomed in light of her work as a proxy attorney.

Earlier Wednesday, DeJoy snappy told Democrats they would have to “get used to” him, saying he had no plans to step down despite the millions of dollars in damage he caused to postal machines and the massive delays in mail delivery times he caused. Many believe these measures came after President Donald Trump waged a war on the mail-in vote that Democrats campaigned to save lives during the coronavirus pandemic. It was, as many say, a concerted effort to undermine the election.
