Arrested Capitol Insurrectionists Nearly Fully Older White Males From Areas Terrified of Minorities and Immigrants

“Fox & Friends” host Brian Kilmeade insists that no one has ever minimized the brutality of slavery, and to prove his point, he said he saw the groundbreaking miniseries “Roots” in 6th grade.

“Yes, I don’t know about your school – schools – but no one has ever evaded the brutality of slavery. I remember seeing ‘Roots’ in 6th grade and seeing it on the display. Check it out, no soft kicking that it was nasty, it was wrong, no one has ever seen this part of our past being sold. But it doesn’t mean what they started with the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, didn’t change the world as we know it and live the way we live it. “

Slavery has been downplayed by many, as these articles in Vox, Salon, and Slate show – just to get you started.

Kilmeade has made repeated racist statements over the years.

When Kilmeade responded in 2018 to the Trump administration separating children on the border from their families, she shrugged because they weren’t American.

“Like it or not, these are not our kids,” Kilmeade told his co-hosts. “Show them compassion, but it’s not [Trump is] do this to the people of Idaho or Texas. They are people from another country. “

Earlier that week, he claimed that “many” of these migrant children are becoming MS-13 gang members.

And he has also complained that, unlike Swedes, Americans “continue to marry other species and different ethnic groups.”

Kilmeade was recognized on social media for his latest remarks:

“Downplaying slavery? Who Is Downplaying Slavery? I’ve seen roots! “- Brian Kilmeade basically

Does watching roots make him an expert on slavery?

@Kilmeade saw Roots and now he’s an expert on slavery.

Keep it up, Brian.
