Wanda Battle, to speak about civil rights, King Jr.
Wanda Battle, Church tour guide, in the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., will be the guest speaker for a virtual lecture hosted by Illinois College entitled “Human Rights and You.”
The program takes place on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Battle will speak about King’s work, the civil rights movement, and the history of the Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. A question and answer session will follow her presentation.
