President Trump was upset about the renovations at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, many of which were being overseen by his wife Melania, according to a source speaking to CNN.
“He wasn’t happy with it,” the source said, adding that the renovations didn’t match the aesthetic Trump prefers. Trump was reportedly so upset with the additions, which consisted of white marble and lots of dark wood, that he demanded they be removed immediately – which is what they were.
According to CNN, Trump’s displeasure with the renovations could be due to a further deterioration in his sentiment over developments that coincide with the dwindling days of his presidency.
“If his last stint in Florida as president were difficult to kick off, the following days would be similar and Trump would appear ‘moody’, according to the club’s source, and spend more time than usual behind closed doors and not with club members as often Mixing and entertaining White House executives as he has usually done for the past few years, ”reports CNN.
